My journey in tech began with a deep fascination for how things work, which led me to pursue a Bachelor’s Degree in IT from Pearson Institute of Higher Education. This academic foundation, combined with my relentless curiosity, has driven me to explore and excel in various areas of software development.

During my time at Pearson Institution, I acquired a diverse skill set that laid the foundation for my career journey. Initially, I delved into technical support, mastering Comptia A+, N+, & Security+ Higher Certification. Subsequently, I pursued network engineering, followed by a Bachelor's degree in IT, where my focus shifted towards programming languages such as C++ and Java, as well as database management with MySQL and SQL Server.

My professional journey began with an internship at XITDevs Software Development, where I worked as a Front-End Bootstrap Developer. This initial experience was pivotal, as it allowed me to apply my academic knowledge in a real-world setting. I eventually led various UI/UX projects, contributing to multiple software developments that catered to the needs of our clients. The hands-on experience and mentorship I received at XITDevs were invaluable, shaping me into the proficient developer I am today.

In addition to my formal education, I am a strong advocate for continuous learning. I've completed various online courses in advanced React, TypeScript, SQL, and NodeSQL through platforms like Codecademy and W3Schools. I am also working towards my AWS Cloud Practitioner certification. These self-taught skills have broadened my expertise and enabled me to stay current with industry trends. My proficiency in AI Prompt Engineering and OutSystems showcases my ability to adapt and thrive in the ever-evolving tech landscape.

As a front-end developer, I firmly believe in the philosophy of minimalism. My approach to UI/UX design emphasizes simplicity and clarity, ensuring that users have a seamless and intuitive experience. I specialize in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, and VueJS. My experience with Bootstrap and Tailwind CSS has allowed me to create responsive and visually appealing web applications. I also integrate SEO best practices to enhance the visibility and performance of the websites I develop.

I am passionate about using my skills to support emerging businesses and the next generation of tech enthusiasts. I assist small businesses by creating websites and systems that boost their visibility, efficiency, and revenue. Additionally, I offer guidance to high school and university students, helping them navigate their educational journeys and career paths in tech. By sharing my knowledge and experience, I hope to inspire and empower others to achieve their goals.

Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working with several esteemed companies and completing numerous impactful projects. At RiscSoft UK, I served as an SQL Developer, creating custom templates and workflows that enhanced organizational productivity. During my tenure at Bhelela Technologies, I developed a web-based Database Management System for the Department of Basic Education and managed a PHP-based Learning Management System for AngloGold Ashanti. My role at XITDevs involved leading front-end development projects and implementing SEO strategies that significantly improved web traffic and search engine rankings.
